About Me

My name is Tyler West, and I am an illustrator from rural Maine. I currently live in Portland, Maine and am a senior at Maine College of Art & Design getting my BFA in Illustration. I love living in the city because it brings constant inspiration to my work. I love exploring how the real world and imaginative world can work in tandem with one another. I have a very active imagination and take most of my inspiration from it executing my ideas using patterns ,strange characters, funny proportions, bold lines, and bright colors. I can bring life to something simple on paper. I want to continue using my unique ideas and style to bring my own and other people's ideas to life.
